Creating a menu type is a straightforward process if you follow these steps carefully. This guide will walk you through logging in, navigating to the relevant section, and configuring the settings for your new menu type.

Step 1: Login and Access the Dashboard

  • Start by logging into your system using your credentials.
  • You'll be redirected to the dashboard.

Step 2: Navigate to the Menu Types Page

  • In the dashboard, find the Menus option within the navigation panel.
  • Under this section, click on Menu Types to open the Menu Types page.

Step 3: Add a New Menu Type

  • On the Menu Types page, look for the Add New button and click it.
  • You’ll be directed to the page for creating a new menu type.

Step 4: Fill Out the Menu Type Details

  • Provide the fullowing details:
    • Title: Enter a name for your menu type.
    • Type: Specify the type of the menu.
    • Description: Add a brief description explaining the purpose or usage of this menu type.

Step 5: Configure Menu Type Settings

  • Navigate to the Menu Type Settings
  • Set the Status of the menu type (e.g., Active or Inactive).
  • Choose the Client:
    • Site: If the menu type will be used on the website.
    • Admin: If the menu type is for backend or administrative purposes.

Step 6: Publish the Menu Type

  • Once all fields and settings are configured, click the Publish
  • Your menu type is now created and saved.

Step 7: View the Menu Type in Menu Settings

  • After publishing, the newly created menu type will appear in the dropdown menu under Menu Settings when adding or editing a menu.
  • The field displaying the menu type in the dropdown is labeled as Type.
