Adding New User Details

1. Navigate to the Dashboard

  • Access the Dashboard in Conefy.
  • Click on the Users tab to open the All Users

2. Add a New User

  • On the All Users page, locate and click the Add New User
  • On the Add New User page:
    • Username and Login Name:
      • Enter the full name and desired username in the respective fields.
      • The username will be used for login purposes.
    • User Description:
      • Add details about the user using the rich text editor, which supports both plain text and HTML formats.

3. Fill Out More Information

  • In the More Information section:
    • Enter the user’s email address.
    • Set a password and confirm it.
    • Specify the user’s designation.

4. Configure User Settings

  • In the User Settings section:
    • Define the user's status as Active, Inactive, or Trashed.
    • Enable the Password Reset field if required to allow password changes.

5. Send Activation Mail

  • Use the Send Activation Mail feature to:
    • Notify the user about their account activation.
    • Resend an activation email if the account is deactivated or requires revalidation.

6. Upload User Images

  • Go to the Image Tab:
    • Upload a Profile Image.
    • Add a Profile Banner Image along with its Alt Text for accessibility.

7. Add Social Media Links

  • Navigate to the Social Tab:
    • Add URLs for the user’s social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Skype, and WhatsApp.

8. Assign User Roles

  • In the Group Tab:
    • Use the User Group section to assign one or multiple roles to the user, such as Super User, Admin, or Author.
